The Character Game

Weaver Academy students in Ms. Jones’ Game Art and Design class learned more about the seven GCS Character Development traits through their class curriculum. Students researched and gained a better understanding of the traits and connected a component of their class curriculum; developing board games. The board games designed by students help bring awareness to specific character traits and even issues like bullying. Upper elementary, middle and high school students can play the fun, interactive games that focus on current issues facing youth today. To learn more about this project view the video below.

  • Is there a way I could learn more about the games that these students created? I think it would be great to use with some of the kids I work with after school.
