Orange County Schools continue partnership with Habitat for Humanity

Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) will continue Hands for Habitat.  This unique partnership with Habitat for Humanity is in its fifth year, and continues to engage Orange County students in an avid service learning project designed to increase awareness of issues related to housing and affordability.

Students of various grade levels throughout the district participate in educational and service learning activities designed by Habitat for Humanity International to focus on housing issues that affect our community and world.

During the 2013-2014 school year, Orange County High School students will build a green-certified home in the Fairview Community of Hillsborough.
