A record number of graduating students completed 100+ hours of community service at Guilford County Schools this year!
1,651 members of the Class of 2017 gave more than 371,000 hours to the community. Those hours equal an economic impact valued at more than $8.5 million according to The Independent Sector, a leadership network for nonprofits, foundations and corporations.
According to a release from Guilford County Schools, GCS students have completed more than 1.7 million service-learning hours since 2010. That is more than a $41 million economic impact to the community.
