The Schools of Character program recognition is presented to schools that demonstrate character development to drive a positive impact on academics, student behavior, and school climate. These schools have demonstrated, through a rigorous evaluation process that character development is infused in the curriculum and schools showcased positive impact on the schools’ academics, student behavior, and school climate.
A team of state evaluators found these schools have implemented the 11 Principles of Character in an exemplary fashion. For more information on becoming a State of National School of Character please visit the following link: http://character.org/schools-of-character/
